Guest Gavin Page Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Sit down. Turn up the volume. LOUDER. I SAID LOUDER That's better. Now listen. Tell_Her.mp3 Like that
Guest johnm Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Big tune for me at our Modernism nights at the moment & very overlooked. Just gets better the longer it goes on. 15___Lou_Rawls_Featuring_George_Benson___You_Can_t_Go_Home.mp3 what a voice ..... what a loss
Mark B Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Now where can I get one....? -Mike i aggree have heard it before and it is excellent. mark
Billy Freemantle Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 For me and just my opinion of course...but I think it's a better version than Bobbys, bit harder and rawer. But hey it's all about opinions You're right is is a very powerful and it is growing on me! (Still find Bobby's version the definitive version though) Here's probably the feelinggoodest Bobby Bland. Is this ever played any more?Bobby_Bland___Call_On_Me.mp3

Russ Vickers Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Brent. That is truly truly awful. Funny thing is I think there's a good tune trying to get out of it, just a really bad unsettling arrangement. Close run thing between that and the Jimmy Page thing Simsy posted! Gotta disagree this is awesome mate, cant see the problem with the arrangement............yeah there's loads going on, but it makes me wanna dance & thats all the criteria we need innit. Russ
