Under a fiver double-sider on both US & UK Stax.

Ollie & the Nightingales - You're Leaving Me / Showered With Love

'You're Leaving Me' is worth a million if music is valued on merit.

So it's a bargain.

Hello,

Current cheap fav is

DON GARDNER - YOU BABE (Verve)

Best thing is: I bought it in a real record shop, not in the internet. C$15,-

Take care

My favourite Rance  Allen - wouldn't swap it for 'I Know  A Man'!!

Hello Mike, 'Gonna Make It Alright' is a gem but 'Thank You Lord' is probably my favourite.

Did someone mention "Loving You"?...

Pure magic for just over a fiver (there's one on MusicStack right now at £8.99). Couldn't complain if it were £899. Detroit quality of the highest calibre :)

Didn't see this one mentioned, should be attainable for ~5 quid, and a damn great tune if you ask me.

THE INTRUDERS - HANG ON IN THERE

Just bought one of these on UK PIR from ebay for £2.99. Mid tempo magic and surely a bargain price for music of this quality. It's what's in the groove that counts...

Just got a copy of The 5th Dimension - No love in the room - Arista

4 dollars on Gemm - 5 dollars for shipping from the States - ordered Moday 26th May arrived today (Wednesday) - does make you wonder about some of the postage charges from the States.

Great tune!!

Just picked up Bob and Earl's Puppet On A String which inturn is a cut of Harlem Shuffle from Des on Soul Source for a jacks. Both are so dark you need a lie down after you've played em.

A great sound with a bit of Harlem Shuffle and I can't get away  thrown in for good measure.

Picked this up on here for £2.50, plus the Platters Washed Ashore, Plus the Dells Wear It... all same price, all M-, all criminally cheap proper northern - tell you what, you could build up a fantastic collection just from the records mentioned on this thread.
