Under a fiver double-sider on both US & UK Stax.

Ollie & the Nightingales - You're Leaving Me / Showered With Love

'You're Leaving Me' is worth a million if music is valued on merit.

So it's a bargain.

Hello Mike, 'Gonna Make It Alright' is a gem but 'Thank You Lord' is probably my favourite.

Pure magic for just over a fiver (there's one on MusicStack right now at £8.99). Couldn't complain if it were £899. Detroit quality of the highest calibre :)

Didn't see this one mentioned, should be attainable for ~5 quid, and a damn great tune if you ask me.

Always loved this one, but seems rarely played or even mentioned. The flip to "Feel So Bad".

For the princely sum of £4.99, from a well known dealer as well

i cant believe ive never heard this before!..bought it blind for a fiver,it looks rare,it sounds rare, but i doubt it is rare!

but this tune ticks all the boxes for me,just been playing it really loud, and this record should be a MONSTER!

Tyrone Davis - I Can't Make It Without You

Gloria Edwards - (Need Nobody To Help Me) Keep Up With My Man

The Valentinos

"You've Got The Kind Of Love That's For Real" that comes with a fabulous flip "Two Lovers History" which was also done by Mary Wells on the flip of "The Doctor"

Anyway, both Valentinos and Mary Wells a fiver or less

This is fabulous!

THE INTRUDERS - HANG ON IN THERE

Just bought one of these on UK PIR from ebay for £2.99. Mid tempo magic and surely a bargain price for music of this quality. It's what's in the groove that counts...

Just picked up Bob and Earl's Puppet On A String which inturn is a cut of Harlem Shuffle from Des on Soul Source for a jacks. Both are so dark you need a lie down after you've played em.

A great sound with a bit of Harlem Shuffle and I can't get away  thrown in for good measure.

Eddie Holman "You know that I will" . Eddie really lets loose and with that Harthon sound it is a great sound. £1.71 off  Ebay last week.

Picked this up on here for £2.50, plus the Platters Washed Ashore, Plus the Dells Wear It... all same price, all M-, all criminally cheap proper northern - tell you what, you could build up a fantastic collection just from the records mentioned on this thread.
