I recently purchased the Lois Lee on Steady label (#99) titled "One Night Stand" couple with "Daredevil".  But I found this "One Night Stand" has also been released on the same Steady label couple with "Any Day Now" but record number is #37005 in 1972.

My copy of #99 has no credit of year but some websites show it is in 1972.  I carefully checked which copy was released first but could not find out.

Anyone knows which one is the 1st release?

So 99 came first by my reckoning.

37005 was one of the Steady "Phase 2" releases which were actually distributed by Scepter.

The tie up was Art Trefferson, an ex Scepter employee who teamed up to run the New York arm of Steady Records (the other arm was in Jamaica) - it was a kind of jointly run thing.

Lois Lee was married to ex Scepter act Joey Dee, and also was part of Johnny Maestro & crests in 64.....

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your posting which helps me very much.  I am glad that the copy of #99 was released first.
