Northern Soul Uk
Being a collector and a lover of US Motown related demos, I have recently come across this. I have never seen one or to be quite honest heard the song before by the Temp's. It was apparently recorded by the 'Isleys' too. The 'B' side is 'The impossible dream'., and the 'A' 'Born to love you' is just Heavenly. Edited May 26, 2013 by Northern Soul UK Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
There's a fantastic reggae version by Derrick Harriott from the late 60's. I know that one more than the Temps. Link to comment Social source share

Soul-slider
There's a fantastic reggae version by Derrick Harriott from the late 60's. I know that one more than the Temps. Also done by Slim Smith and a few other JA artists. Think The Miracles did a version too? Edited May 27, 2013 by Soul-Slider Link to comment Social source share

Britmusicsoulfan
I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to Motown/Tamla/Gordy/Soul 45s. Even if I have a M- copy and I find a nice demo copy, I'll always buy it (as they are usually cheap and oftentimes mint in the States). Cheers, Tim 1 Link to comment Social source share

Robbk
Rob, have you any idea how many were pressed up? I don't know. But it's quite rare. I'd guess no more than 500. 1 Link to comment Social source share

Robbk
Copies not £££ Copies not £££ I meant "copies". I have no sense of humour (despite being a comedy writer). 1 Link to comment Social source share
