Paul R Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I'm sure I've heard another version of the above mentioned track. Not E Rodney Jones, or the similarly titled track by the Admirations. Sure it's a group name, and the title is slightly different, but it is the same record as Bobby. Anyone put me out of my misery??? Paul
KevH Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Ken Williams and the Babysitters - "Get to know ya'" - on Spectator. My info on it is that a certain KR and Herb Abrahamson put this out in 75' after HA gave KR the tapes (possibly a demo for Bobby Treetop). 250 made, not sure if boot is the right term. 1
Paul R Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 Cheers for the info folks. Knew I didn't dream it(or nightmare it). Not a great version. Paul

Ken Williams worked with Bobby Treetop at a music publishers...... Bit of self publicity I suppose, but Ken talks about Bobby Treetop here (The Music of Ken Williams) if you haven't heard it.....I didn't ask him about the Babysitters tho....bit on Bobby treetop starts about 17 mins in..... https://www.mixcloud.com/steve-guarnori/sunday-morning-soul-on-solar-featuring-the-music-of-ken-williams/ Edited May 24, 2013 by Steve G 1
