I'd like to own this Freda Payne LP .....the tracks were cut in Sweden in the 60's and Don Gardner's Band are backing her up on half the tracks (he did loads of shows over there in the 60's + recorded quite a few decent tracks there as well).

Most of the tracks he laid down there are only available on rare Swedish releases but USA Records picked up these cuts and put them out in the States after she hit for Invictus in 1970.

The LP cover picture alone is enough to make me want to own the album.

on an interesting note, while looking, there were a shed load of CD thingys, but only 2 LPs, one being a demo which didn't include On easy street, shame cos it$15 cheaper :g:

Will have to find mine and put them up in Sales. Got a mint minus copy and one that's broken in two but still with the cover. Great for framing. The album also contains "Sad, Sad September" which is a stunningly haunting mid tempo gem as fas as I'm concerned.

The MGM lp was reissued without "On Easy Street" in the early 70s, in a different sleeve (It also came out in the UK on the 99p series of albums - again missing On Easy Street off).
