I have looked in manships UK soul guide and its not listed Its more of a gospel track any info would be good who they were etc.
Darkes Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 This isn't gonna be much help, but is it a cover of Dorothy Morrison's "All gods children got soul" which was released on UK Electra about 1969. Written by Booker T and William Bell. It's kinda uptempo gospel. Pretty good. Regards Alan
Pete S Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 They were a female duo, folky type numbers mainly. Active from 69 to 72. Two page one 45's, one on Jam and one on DJM. Also a rare LP on Page One.
timthemod Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Birds of a Feather were Doreen And Irene Chanter later to become the Chanter Sisters. They had releases on both Page One And Phillips, and had links to Elton John via the 'This Production' team at Dick James Music. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doreen_Chanter

Are you sure they had releases on Philips as BIrds Of A Feather?
