Godzilla Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 (edited) Looks like we're fiinally going to visit New Orleans this year and we're planning our trip to coincide with the Ponderosa Stomp for a slap up feast of soul, funk, R&B blues, garage, rockabilly and zydeco. Anyone else thinking of heading there or been before (or Nola generally) and have any tips about accommodation, food, must sees and so on. Godzilla Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 I'm jealous what a line up Thanks Gary I was starting to think I was on the spice girls forum for a moment. Seriously though, I'm aware that quite a few members on the defunct Fryer-Mantis Funk Forum used to attend, and I know at least one of our US based members has DJd at the Allnighter that precedes the two day event. I'd have thought however that some UK based Soul Sourcers would have been there too, especially as there's also a conference with talks by artists and others involved in the music plus a record fair. Anyway nice little promo film here
