:hatsoff2: HI ALL.. When IAN L compiled the SOLID SOUL SENSATIONS PYE LP, I set myself the task of getting all the titles on 45, the rarest to find was JACK MONTGOMARY. Why any of the releases should fetch more than the JM does not make sense to me as they are all worth getting, but not at inflated prices of this latest sale  DAVE K

Yep! and a record that's made more comebacks than George Best

How many's that now that have gone through e-bay since Christmas :g:

So Jack Montgomery's Do You Believe It/Dearly Beloved was a hard one years ago then? They seem to be quite common today.

jack montgomery on scepter should only be £100..theres one up for sale everyday

£500 for a clean copy of masqueraders imo

Was looking through Kev Roberts Top 500 this morning, dated 2003, he priced Jack Montgomery at £150.00, you can still find a decent copy at this price(ish) today.

Great record, I first heard/knew about DYLMB at Wigan I think, was it a pre-Wigan spin?

Aid.

I'm tempted to say a mecca spin, that's the period i heard it from. But lots of records crossed to other venues.

Sure I've seen it referenced before Wigan, either playlist, sales list etc.

Given it is on the Solid Souls Sensations LP put together by Ian Levine it would suggest this was a Mecca spin first . In fact I don't remember it at Wigan between 73 and 76
