The Milk Man Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 LITTLE WINK & EDDIE'S 25TH CENTURY BAND - PEACOCK / SENTIMENTAL LOVE ON BROCK Can anyone shed light on this Virginia funk release? It's one that I've recently come across & I'm wondering if there any many copies out there, maybe in the hands of soul source members? It's definately a curious one as within the past 5 months it's recorded as being sold for $1700 - $300 just through 3 copies. Fantastic tune, both sides, and my cuppa tea so any info much appreciated 1
The Milk Man Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 Cheers Bob, were you after it? Would go nice next to the Deceptions
Greg Belson Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I think Mr Mahood has/had a copy at one point.....I'm on the fence with it. Sounds alright, but a tad pedestrian (for my tastes at any rate). Kinda reminds me of Jimmy Dews on Dews with less conviction. 1
