Simon M Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 (edited) Kin Hell this is brilliant Louisiana Purchase-Baby come back .. Thanks Mark H......... for the reminder You cant beat the 80's in my book , with Searling , Soul Sam , and Robin leading the way throughout the decade !! Edited May 20, 2006 by Simon M
vnicepce Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 Question of the day..... Was all 80's synthesised cack? Or were there some good records as well..... good philosophical question....I was listening to LJ Johnson's (Levine) track last night-the thing that makes that track, for me, is Johnson's voice-the backing is just that, the backing...Byron Stingily, IMHO, has a brilliant voice-the backing is contemporary.. ....perhaps we should be asking IF they have enough 'SOUL'????? ......Angie Stone-Wish I did'nt Miss You.........?????
vnicepce Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 ...and further to my prev. Email, try this: https://cdbaby.com/cd/soulproject ....if this does not work, go to soul-patrol.com

Guest WPaulVanDyk Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I have always liked Atlantic Starr - Always even if it is soul. There was also Bobby Brown but he become R & B rather then just Soul. Bad thing was when you got Motorcity back together. the new versions not a patch on originals.
