Phillydog66 Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 hi does anybody have a list of the stardust record releases thanks.
Cunnie Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Sorry I can't help with the list but does anyone know for sure if Stardust records are legitimate or not? "‹Have been told that they are legally pressed in Canada but have never received a definite answer. Reason for asking is that the Wife has a Stardust handwritten test press of Timi Yuro & have never seen another of this or any other title. If it is legit it must be worth a few bob bearing in mind how much the UK copy's go for & also the fact that it never got a Stateside release.

Guest sharmo 1 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 The Gary Knight number is URS076.With"my Boy" by Belle Benchley on the B side.noticed this waasn't in the discog's listing .Simon.

There's an old thread about that test press elsewhere on the site. Being a Stardust release, can't see how it would be worth anything, soz! (I've had one of them as well) Edited April 12, 2013 by Pete S
Andreas B Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I like that stardust did the repress of "gonna be a big thing" with both the yum yums and sapphires versions on either side. I've fancied owning one of those for a bit, seems to be one of the harder to find though. no small wonder as both are fantastic!

(I've had one of them as well) Think it was started by me or I at least mentioned it on the thread Pete. Not worth a deal as you say but must be rarer than a Liberty copy as seen quite a few of them & they go for crazy money. Looks nice spinning round on a deck too if you're into that kinda thing. Just needs two people in a 'got to have' mood on e bay & ow't could happen. Like Simon say's above the Tempests goes for mad money & has even been booted on a Stardust lookalike label.
Benji Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Probably the rarest one is the night people by gary knight as most copies were warped and most of the surving copies went to Holland and Belgium for the other popcorn side. I have a non-warped copy of Gary Knight for sale if anyone's interested....
