Pete S Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 (edited) John Manship's bootleg book is very vague about this really, it tells you what is not an original but not really what is...I have one here and it is Archer stamped with something like dxm next to that (d with a tail on the top), anyone have any idea what is in the run off of the original? Hi Pete ,I've checked mine against the one on John's site and the printed writing on the right hand side is "vertical" with the words commencing under each other....mine must be a boot as the wording is "staggered ,even tho' its etched "archer" ATB Steve i've a similar one but archer is scratched in ,so if yours is a proper stamp could be real..reckon mines a boot has b-side label on both sides..but different tracks original; is on manships rarest, easy to make a visual check against that one. Hey Pete, I'm led to believe that the one in the pic is an Atco reissue, which was pressed around the same time as the orange labelled Luther Ingram (around 1972-73).
