( One of THE best Reggae-got-Soul 45s ever laid down — this IS “Jamaican Soul” — Alton was one of the finest vocalists ever to come outta JA — and — this is definitely one of his best tunes — kooky instrumental called ‘Joyland’ by Sound Dimensio on the flip which is certainly off-the-wall — a huge Coxsone Dodd-produced 45 — lotsa scuffs / minor crackle here and there and a sticker to topside but ***nothing*** like that will be able to stop your enjoyment of this 45.... )

This is one of those weird / unusual instances that occasionally happens in NS where the issue is rarer than the demo...I’ve had 3 / 4 (red) demos down the years but this is definitely the first issue copy I’ve ever had...wow....what a tune, what a voice... )
