Dooby
Forgive me if it's been done before, but I wondered if any one artist has had a monster tune first played at EACH andALL the big venues? Say wheel, torch, Wigan, Mecca, stafford ? No offence to those venues not mentioned! Looking forward to answers from you knowledgeable folks - ta! Guest Matt Male
I'll be surprised if anyone fits the bill. If I'm understanding the question correctly, you're asking for an artist who has had a record discovered and broken in the 60s, 70s and 80s at five different venues? That means at least five different records across 3 decades by the one artist, one of which not broken until Stafford? The only way to start I'd have thought would be to work backwards, check all the Stafford first time plays, eliminate all the artists without first time plays and Wigan and so on... Might make it a bit easier if it doesn't have to be a 'monster tune'. Edited April 3, 2013 by Matt Male Link to comment Social source share
