CURB RECORDS now a worldwide name in music. But back then they guided a former Texas DJ, who joined the Crickets after the tragic death of Buddy Holly. As their lead vocalist he made his name as an artist, in 1965 the Crickets split and Jerry went solo with fully 7 releases for Capitol on their Tower subsiduary. But only this single side met Northern Soul dancefloor requirements of frantic-feelgood, amphetamine fueled acrobatic stomping music that simultaneously shook the insides of The Casino & The Pier. It matters not your past or your future if at some point in your career you recorded a 60s dance record with Northern Soul ingredients. Those NS vinyl-hounds will find it… they did just that around 10 years after it’s release and it’s been a favoured all niter choice ever since.. Unbelievable, I cant believe the chap who won that honestly thought he was paying any sort of reasonable price, Perhaps he's a millionaire.... I remember getting this at Second City Sounds in Brum for £2, it was in the crap box along with stuff like Earthquake - Roy Hamilton etc...
