Just picked up a mint copy of this off Tony O,, (CHEERS TONY) and as usual i played it over a few times , then flipped it to listen to Pretender, which i think is also a brilliant tune , i see in the matrix on both sides we have 1A    so i gather this is a double A record , can some one clarify this , i cant seem to find any reference regarding the Pretender side, so is it not favoured, if it is who have you heard play it and where,

so is this a double a sided record , i'm of a similar view to grant , I think I prefer the pretender side being mid tempo and more suitable for dancing to, but obviously I purchased it for (the picture), which I would play either at the start of a night or the end, but I have still never heard it played out anywhere before, so again is this due to it not being a desirable record or just the rarity of it, or will I never know

Never really got into the "pretender" side but always loved "picture" ever since I heard it on a SKM tape almost 15/20 years ago. Wasn't it a big cover up for Gary Spence in the late 80s/early 90s.

Yes Benji it was Gary Spencer cover up, certainly long before Carl and Stevie.  Not sure if Gary played it first.

It's not hard to like the flip more though, "Picture" is terrible.
