Pete S Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 (edited) I had one that was popular and pretty good on british polydor called -ring the changes by paradox, maybe the other way round it was a pretty wobbly time for me! Anyway, story had it there were only two copies, bought mine from Guy Henigan and most Rev Tony Clayton bought it from me. Never saw another copy before or since All time fave instrumentals would include -on the road to ruins by earl wright, baritrack and exus trex. Had a few copies of Paradox but I also discovered the vocal version! (Cue: no you didn't, it was played in 1972) Edited March 23, 2013 by Pete S 1

MrsWoodsrules Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Don't really do it for me personally but the archetypal instrumental for me would have to be Frankie Crocker. Would East Coast Connection qualify for an instrumental? Don't know why, but I aways considered it one, but its actually not? Just feels like one if you know what I mean, kind of a cross between a vocal & instrumental, another that feels like that is Lonnie Liston Smith Expansions. Does an instrumental have to have no vocals? Food for thought. Aid. p.s, quite like the Betty Boo instrumental. 1
Pete S Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 bob's band - locke's theme - atco ( canadian hospital tv drama, circa 71-74...big for winstanley at wigan late 78? ) I sold mine last week. I can't believe I sold it. But I wasn't in a position to turn down £75. Though this week I would have been in a position to turn down £75. Won't see another copy of that in the

A comment from the opening post from the topic starter ; i ill open with the most popular being checkerboard squares? Obviously the topic starter isn't fed up, and I would put 'Bari Track' firmly in this category, especially if the likes of 'Interplay' are being contributed
Dave Morris Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Just dug this one out.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDRlsIg-bw8

Mike Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 SAM AMBROSE - THEY'LL BE COMING - CRAZY HORSE Huge record 75/76 Not heard played out for a thousand years that's one of those that is ruined for good after you hear the vocal version 1
Pete Eccles Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Fair enough. Coming next: OVO, good thing or bad. Just to clear things up here, if all the contributions were obscure semi/unknown instrumentals I wouldn't have mentioned 'Bari Track' and wouldn't normally post in these types of thread anyway, Instead I read almost 2 pages of lists of readily known tracks following on from the topic starters request, and mentioned I was surprised at the absence of 'Bari Track' No biggie really

Hope that makes sense. Nothing to do with you listing it.
