Daved Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Steve, Would you like a list of artists that are making music that sounds old/trtro e.g Sharon Jones or artists that are making current sounding music e.g. Angie Stone?
Middleman Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 Steve, Would you like a list of artists that are making music that sounds old/trtro e.g Sharon Jones or artists that are making current sounding music e.g. Angie Stone? Good point Dave, I should have been more specific and said "non retro". Thanks for the link to previous thread and if Peter is reading this thanks for your reply as well. Cheers Steve
Daved Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 In that case, albums by the following artists are usually a safe bet: Anthony Hamilton Jill Scott Erykah Badu Eric Benet Will Downing Maysa Angie Stone (last one (Rich Girl) was great!) Teena Marie (RIP - great posthomous CD - Beautiful) I could go on & on (like Eykah )
