Pete S Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 THE THINKING MAN'S OLDIES EPISODE 5 Well here we are at volume 5 of The Thinking Man's Oldies, obviously this series also extends to ladies so it should be called The Thinking Person's Oldies really...but anyway here's another 30 crackers to think about, my favourite here amongst many is probably the massively underrated Pee Wee, Shuck & Huey track which I once could have had for £200 but is now likely to cost £2000 - but that was hard to choose as there are some truly brilliant records here. Next volume should be along in a couple of days. Happy listening - Pete. Back Street Blue Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Still got to get round to listening to number 4 yet !!!!!!!!!! (on mobile broad band at the minute). Fabulous jades - come on and live, (Rika ?) can't remember hearing that out since BITD, still got a pressing somewhere, slight split but still plays...(should I be embarrassed to admit that?) Great stuff thanks again for sharing.

Never gonna happen mate, one, not got the records anymore, two, I can play the records *probably* as well as anyone, but give me a mic and I feel so uncomfortable that I'd rather not be there, which is a bit strange really as I've never had any problems talking to anyone...

Pete S Posted February 27, 2013 Author Posted February 27, 2013 Hi Pete, might be a bit thick but how do I load the podcast so I can put it on my Ipod? Pete. Pete, officially you're only supposed to be able to listen to mixcloud podcasts, not download them, however if you go to the address below and put in the aweb address of the podcast it will enable you to download it and put it into itunes or your ipod etc You can download a mixcloud using www.offliberty.com Copy and paste the URL into the blank box, click on the link below, of in a black box, and it will download. (In other words, go to the page of the podcast you want, copy it's address at the top - right click, copy - then paste it into the box)
