waterfall_manc Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 "@Think the Mighty Lovers might just take that title ? " think i missed it by about a minute. gutted.
Agentsmith Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 "@Think the Mighty Lovers might just take that title ? " think i missed it by about a minute. gutted. gutted is not the word mate, totally desolate more like and i have to inform our friend that he's let it go for peanuts......on account of the fact, this was recently on rarenorthernsoul.com for OVER £200+ ......DOH!!!
Iancsloft Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Someone's not done their homework methinks lol
Dazdakin Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 is that a Rubin issue for 180? YES!! :-DB-)
Our Kid Posted February 15, 2013 Author Posted February 15, 2013 Apologies RUBIN is an original demo.
Pete S Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 .on account of the fact, this was recently on rarenorthernsoul.com for OVER £200+ ......DOH!!! That means it's worth at least £40 then... 3
Agentsmith Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 That means it's worth at least £40 then... pete, id only ever come across this record once before, in the early 80's when pep had all his stock in the cellar of the old coop shop opposite the vic. i used to go in there on saturdays and trawl the cellar ( just like being in the states..yes? ) found one of these, august moon and even a roger hatcher!...needless to say i didnt buy any of them...more fool me. anyway, i presume this is the rarest incarnation of a backing track with different lyrics to stanley mitchell or the new holidays. dont get me wrong, i was gobsmacked at the asking price but then today im taken aback by the "dropdown bargain"....so this is another typical case of valuations being all over the place...i would definitely have snapped this up.....if id stayed online 10 minutes longer at lunchtime but there you go!
Peter99 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Some cheap records in that lot - no wonder lots of quick sales and trolley dashes. Peter
Guest giant Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Someone's not done their homework methinks lol methinks the same Ian' some very cheap records on that list
Guest giant Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 (edited) Deffo a trolley dash there!! Please bear with me while i reply in order and update the list. Thanks Jimmy your prices caused the trolley dash 'very cheap records Edited February 15, 2013 by giant
Reg Scott Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 That means it's worth at least £40 then... Not a very rare record Pete, got a national distribution as you're aware, but can I pick one up in clean condition for a decent price
Markw Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Some cheap records in that lot - no wonder lots of quick sales and trolley dashes. Peter Goes a little way to explaining why I haven't a reply to my PMs..............never mind.
NEV Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 A sense of irony here ..ridicule selling too high ,same when too low .. wondering if the people who constantly whinge about high prices have sent pm's asking to reserve records they know to be very low ? Alls fair in love and war eh 2
