Steve Plumb Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Another of those wierd and wonderful UK versions of classic Soul tracks! A twofer this time, covering Jackie Wilson AND Junior Walker from 1969. Ending on ebay in a couple of days https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300858550599&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
Pete S Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 In the 90's I had a couple of copies of this, cost me little or nothing, £4 apiece I think, then in the 2000's, I started to see it going for really silly prices as it was suddenly going under the 'freakbeat' banner, which surprised me a little. It was bootlegged on a superb looking counterfeit but easy to tell as no centre and no milling etc. I'd expect this copy on ebay to sell for a really good price...
