It truly is a crackin' record Tony, one I was after a while ago but then forgot about it, what with so many other 'Wants' clouding my view. I'd value it more at £300 ish, never £500.

Mr. H snagged a bargain I'd say.

Ace Randy cozens discovery from the 80s

whom i bought my original copy from

The recording is lo fi as Tony mentioned but if you whack it up sounds great out loud

And the b side is a great ballad

Not many of these floating about

The one i won came from crazy beat records in upminster essex and it was the only soul item on there auction

Glad its back in the collection

Al H

Hi Denbo how you doing mate :hatsoff2:

Went for over 700 on a manship (say no more) auction 2/3 years ago, certainly goes for more than 300

Anyway it's a US only why would you want it

Get down to Solid Hit, I'll play you mine ......................failing that we'll have to sort a beer ? (oops off topic sorry! :g: )

I do collect American imports Dave.

But my first love has always been UK labels.

Sent you a PM.

Not a really good record!!

Apart from being low-fi, it is a brilliant record!!

I've tried to like it Tony, I can see the fascination people have with it, that's one of the good things about collecting rare soul, there are loads of very distinct sounds out there, but this just never had enough of anything to really grab me to be honest..

Love it - and the cymbal crash at the ending is the maddest soul finale of all time !!!
