Pete S Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I need vol.1 issues 1 to 4, that would be probably December 73, Jan 74, Feb 74, March 74...and I also need October 74. Has anyone got any of these for sale or could they point me to somewhere that specialises in magazines? I've got all the rest and thought it would be nice to get them bound. I saw I think Jan 74 on ebay but it's £15 and I wouldn't pay that sort of price.

Pete S Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 Sean Chapman has a load for sale on his site. Can't see them on his site, doesn't matter anyway, despite someone emailing me to tell me "if I didn't want tp pay £15 I'd have no chance of getting copies", I actually got issues 1, 2 and the missing 1974 one for F*CK ALL due to me having some nice friends who gave them to me. I might just pay for the missing number 3 but not more than a fiver.
Wiggyflat Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Pete i think chapman had blues and souls...apologies.Will keep my eyes peeled for 3 ..
Stevlor Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Dear Pete, came across your post regrading Black Music Magazine while I was researching the mag for a biography that I'm currently writing about Dave Godin, to be published later next year (2017). I know we're three years on but I wondered if you would be interested in helping me out regarding an article in a copy of Black Music. I'm uncertain which issue it was in but it was a 7 page feature by Tony Cummings all about Northern Soul which caused a rift between Godin and Cummings ( not too complimentary towards Wigan Casino I believe ). Would you be kind enough to photo copy me the article for my research. I will of course cover any costs and include your name in the book's thank you credits. If you're interested please message me and I'll forward you with an address or if you can scan the pages you can use the email address below or maybe attach to a Soul Source message. If you're not interested in being involved in this project please accept my apologies for bothering you. Many thanks in advance, Stevlor stevlor@hotmail.co.uk 0777 1805 180
