Santiago - Feeling good - Bam Buu / EX / £200 (Superb modern soul dancer getting some recognition lately but still under the radar for most. Very rare modern soul out of Philly. Label has a couple of neat looking stains.)

A Brother’s Guiding Light - Getting together - Mercury / EX / £70 (Nice and clean copy of this rare Philly soul classic.)

We the People - Making my daydream real / Whatcha done for me, I’m gonna do for you - Lion / EX / £60 (Stone classic but don’t forget the sublime flipside. Two stunning sides!)

Quickest Way Out - Hello stranger - Karen / EX / £50 (Rare and good 1974 version!)

Tommy Keith - Loving you comes easy - Vibration / EX / £45 (Seldom seen and absolutely superb dancefloor tune from the Sylvia Robinson empire.)

Jackson Sisters - I believe in miracles - Polydor / VG+ / £45 (Like with so many copies of this it has a cue burn first second then plays fine)

Satin Dreams - Stay away from my lover - Brunswick / EX / £45 (Great modern soul dancer which is so much rarer on 7” than 12”. Pristine white demo, comes in Brunswick company sleeve too.)

Buddy Miles - Just a kiss away - Columbia / VG / £45 (BB hole and light label wear. Vinyl has lots of marks and scuffs but plays ok. Cheap DJ copy!)

Lonnie Hill - Cold winter in the ghetto - Urban Sound / EX/EX / £40 (Great copy of this 45 only release. Comes complete with picture sleeve.)

Centaura - Your love is all I need - Budweiser / EX/VG+ / £35 (Rare 1983 Bud release. Good ballad/slowie. Picture sleeve has slight damaged side.)

Gwen McRae - 90% of me is you - Cat / EX / £25 (BB hole through label. Still sounds so good!!)

Jobell and the Orchestra de Salsa - Never gonna let you go - Jan / EX / £25 (Indie disco classic and oh so good!)

Gloria Walker - My precious love - People / EX / £20 (Sublime female soul which comes highly recommended. Purple label vinyl copy.)

Cecile Frenette - What happened (to our love) - Wharf / EX/VG+ / £15 (Great 1980 midtempo soul out of Toronto. Picture sleeve has creases.)

Martha Reeves - Really like your rap - Fantasy / EX / £15 (I really rate this Lamont Dozier produced midtempo dancer. Hard to find and still seems unknown to most soul collectors.)

Denise Kelly & Fame - I’d like to get into you - 20th Century / EX / £45 (Stunning mellow groove which still sounds as good as when I first heard it some 15 years ago. Promo copy.)

Raw Umber - Love one another - Virginia / EX / £75 (Rare and great Chicago soul.)

Caldwell Myrick - It be’s that way - Tamboo / EX / £40 (The later version which is heavenly mellow groove/2 step.)

Arnita Ware & Joe Mack - Choosing - Count / EX / £15 (Absolutely lovely mellow groove soul. Same Detroit label as Percy & the Image Band. 100% recommendation. Seen at £50 recently.)

Sahara - The wind - Get Down / EX / £15 (Evergreen two step, and to be honest so much better than the rarer Cracksteppin’ version.)

Larry Saunders - The prophet of soul - Soul International / EX/VG- / £30 (“This is my prayer”, “Fly away love bird” etc. Street scene cover. Cover has general wear and fully split upper seam and partly split lower seam. Vinyl is clean.)

Bobby Thurston - Sweetest piece of the pie - Hi-Hut / EX/EX / £30 (1988 UK copy of this superb modern soul album. “Just ask me”, “Treat me the same way”, “I want your body” etc.)

Z.Z. Hill - A whole lot of soul - United / VG/VG / £25 (Very rare album with Z.Z. mainly covering others songs. Standout is his take of Bettye Swann’s “Make me yours” which enjoyed a 45 release in the UK . Cover has general wear, vinyl light marks plays ok but not perfect.)

O’Jays/Moments - O’Jays meet the Moments - Stang / EX/EX / £25 (Solid album throughout! Standouts being “Sugar sugar”, “Ride your pony”, “Be my girl”.)

Moses - The coming of - Pure Silk / EX/EX / £25 (“The sweetest love” great mellow groover.)

Variations - II - Amour / EX/VG+ / £25 (“I can show you” + “Night cup” - mellow groove/two step perfection signed Lowrell Simon. Cover has two issues - partly split upper seam, small writing on label)

Wilma Reading - Take a closer look at - Pye / EX/EX / £25 (UK original, with “Keep the faith”.)

Ballads - Confessing a feeling - Balja/Vivid / EX/EX / £25 (Japanese album of previously unreleased material + 45 sides on labels lika Balja, Venture and Kimberly. “What will be, will be” is the standout to me. With insert.)

Various - Soul Bag Vol.1 - Sound Stage 7/Vivid /EX/EX / £25 (Japanese compilation of SS7 45 sides. Continental Showstoppers “Not too young” plus sides by Soul Ambassadors, Stereos Cashmeres and Brief Encounter.)

Clifford Coulter - The better part of me - Columbia / EX/VG / £20 (“Love too hot to hide” + “Don’t wanna see you cry”. Good looking white promo copy, cover strong side of VG with light ring wear, tape repaired upper seam + sticker on back.)

Edna Wright - Oops! Here I go again - Rca / EX/EX / £20 (Japanese high quality reissue. Title track plus “If the price is right” are both superb.)

James Conwell - Let it all out - Globe / EX/EX / £20 (High quality reissue of the rare
