When did this become so expensive? I seem to remember it being £100. I'm sure I sold mine to Joan for around that amount. Has Butch started playing it or something?

Why would you want to pay 700/800 for a record with such a crap recording. great record thou :g:

Agree Ted, top tune but appalling production, I just thought all copies I'd heard were worn out

"i really love you" which you could pick up for £75 - £100 a couple of years ago

Your right Trev , I had 2 copies of I Really Really love you and sold both for £100 2 - 3 years ago , seemed to be around that price for years as I seem to remember getting a copy from Adey Pierce 10 years ago for 100 and a copy of Sailboat for 80

Trev, although it was a low budget set up in a basement it was also pressing problems. William Nunn wasn't pleased with the pressing quality and went to the Rite pressing plant in Cincinatti where he saw a young lad younger than his own son operating the equipment. He then decided to change plants which is where the yellow labels get replaced with the tri-colour. At what point that was I don't know off hand without scanning around but it must have been after the Alfred O release (Mo Do 110) which is yellow.

Just looked through Rite pressings and Mo Do 116 was the last Rite press

You must have forgotten to take your ear plugs with you that night, mind you things need to be played really loud when they've got your shirt's to compete with !!!

Why don't you give "I Gotta To Find A Way/Don,t Leave Me " a listen cheap and cheerful just like me :D
