Kegsy - don't panic mate, exactly the same thing has happened to mine as well, nothing from january 22nd onwards

Not panicing mate the balance is right

I have withdrawn most of the money anyway.

Had a payment this morning and got the usual email

but I cant see it on paypal or get address detail etc.

Dates are same with me.

I emailed them this morning..Just checked mine and all well again i can only assume its a Pay-Pal glitch..mine was blank from Saturday till now...just found out ive paid for the same record twice.."Doh"

Mine looks ok again now.

Very odd.

It sometimes takes a while for new transactions to show up in the history. Your actual balance will be correct though. Also, I'm moving this to "look at your box" which covers the more technical aspects of records and their acquisition. Thanks for posting!

Paypal definitely had a problem earlier today with payment failed messages even though the payment had been made. Only found out because an honest seller refunded me. Phoned Paypal and berated their compliance and regulation dept for not informing their customers of the problem The FSA should look into this.

I sent someone £20 this morning, it said transaction failed, so did it again 10 minutes later, said transaction failed, then got two receipts saying my payments had been successful - paid same person twice apparently..

That's exactly what happened to me Pete this morning too! Emailed the seller straight away but no reply as yet. Must have been a glitch on their site...

I've spoken to PayPal this morning as we've had issues as work with several buyers paying repeatedly for the same item -- some of the transactions have been refunded and some haven't. The scary bit is that the guy at PayPal said they weren't sure what was causing the refunds! They've told me just to wait for now and not do anything with any of these sales yet. As soon as they get back to me with more details I will post anything useful here...

Total nightmare... Still no response from PayPal but have now been through all logs from past 48 hours with a fine tooth comb and we have 21 customers affected by this -- some have paid mutiple times and not been refunded, some have been refunded for one of their transactions but still paid another five times, some have been refunded for all their transactions... No logic to it at all and I don't think PayPal have any clue what's going on.

The only good news is all the glitchiness seems to stop around 9:30 yesterday morning, so anything trying to buy anything NOW should be fine...

Had the same problems yeaterday paid for same items twice as it kept saying transaction fail !

So log into Paypal go to contact us - then call us and it gives you this number 0845 4011 050 to ring plus an id number to quote !

I did this managed to get through to them and they told me they have had problems the last few days with Paypal & Ebay but there and then she refunded the extra payments and things seem to be ok since !
