Pete S Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 (edited) Have a read of the description...it's 100% bootleg - I think it's bad when the seller guarantees it to be a 100% original and it's totally the opposite https://www.ebay.co.u...61993932&_rdc=1 Edited January 23, 2013 by Pete S

Jim G Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 He replied to me, said he was sold it as an original and will add a note saying it's a reissue. Well done seller. I agree, he sent me the same message. Begs the question what will happen in a few years time when the knowledge begins to disappear as we start going to the great dance floor in the sky !!
Gene-r Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I was sold one of these green label boots in 1981 as an original for £6. Also believed for ages after that it was an orig!

Gene-r Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Gene, want to buy some magic beans? How much, Jack?
Mick Sway Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 (edited) i sent him a polite mail telling him it is a fake, I await the response! As did I without acknowledgement. I also sent him links proving the point. I will say that those designer pick covers are neat and quite expensive on their own. According to the bay it ended at £39.99 1 bid, can't see that anything was changed on it though: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181061993932?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D181061993932%26_rdc%3D1 Edited January 24, 2013 by Mick Sway
Steve L Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I'm always suspicious of records like this with one bid on a fairly high start price, I bet he got someone to bid on it to "encourage" others to
Guest MrC Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 (edited) I'm always suspicious of records like this with one bid on a fairly high start price, I bet he got someone to bid on it to "encourage" others to Because nobody who sells records properly would ever think of doing that.... right? Supercorsa Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 What about this one then? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Collectable-45rpm-Northern-Soul-7-RONNIE-McNEIR-Sitting-In-My-Class-/251217194432?pt=UK_Records&hash=item3a7db62dc0
Pete S Posted January 24, 2013 Author Posted January 24, 2013 What about this one then? https://www.ebay.co.u...=item3a7db62dc0 No mention of it being a reissue, you'd have to know the original doesn't have the inst on the back - starting price £70... 1
Gene-r Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 What's the postage on those beans?? Gerroff! Pete made the offer to me, so they're mine!
