Morning all , Just bought a copy of THE TAMS - THIS PRECIOUS MOMENT - SOUNDS SOUTH (RED LABEL) and my question is,

which is harder to get the RED or YELLOW label , is there any difference in price between them ?

Cheers

Got a feeling that the yellow came first. Remember John Anderson getting them in and I picked one up on one of my weekly visits. It wasn't until at least 8 months later that the red ones appeared... but as always, that's only as I remember it.

belgian should be legit..loads of soul stuff came out on this label

Thing is though Dave , I must be paranoid about anything records from Belgium (no disrespect meant to anyone) but heard some tales that just puts me right off buying anything from there.

I bought a red label copy in the late 70s/early 80s from Bob Cattaneo, a well known (at the time) San Fransisco dealer'. I always presumed that it was the first release, I have only seen Yellow copies relatively recently. In my experience the red copy is harder to

find and is usually a bit dearer.

Remember buying some stuff off Bob Cattaneo , must have been late 70's , got a few copies of The Cassanova Two on Early Bird demos which I have heard since were maybe dodgy ?
