Wiganer1 Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 what to do - rca dj had never heard until the week.. wigan sound 75 ... for me its classic wigan for that period girly,,uptempo and everything that the scene was looking for at the time... seems to me that they would scour the whole label for anything that resembled danceability this would bomb like anything today but still has that nostalgic beat for me and it'll be in wigan only box probably never to see the light of day again who knows? regards fluff

Ernie Andrews Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Mark, Do you mean What Can I Do by Lorraine Chandler? No He actually means the Angels- What to do /I had adream I lost Ive got a RCA issue of this- It something someone would have played on their discotron in the 1960s with the top down on the car. Shangrilas meets Beverly sisters is the way I would describe it! Id love to hear someone play it out- you could just imagine the faces
Guest Andy BB Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 If you like that look out for The Angels - You're the cause of it. Great uptempo bouncy girlie group tune. I have played this one early on at Valatone to some strange looks, wouldn't have the cheek to play it later in the night though
