I know this is a tuff one to turn up clean (and a nice double sider) but at this price?

https://www.ebay.com/...cvip=true&rt=nc

Now it could be seen as a bid war price but It seems to me that this is another example of the trend toward an increasing premium for top condition collectable 45's (something that JM's auction prices seem to show?)

The interesting thing for me is that this seems to challenge the standard definition of 'guide' prices and especially value differentials i.e. EX / VG++ as 80% of NM value etc.

In this case that would value an EX copy at $428 wich I doubt we would see...

No financial downturn for these bidders

I reckon its the condition thats driven the price.

It extremely difficult to get a mint one.

It took me years.

last couple of copies of holding hands have been around £50 on red issue on ebay , boot is usually 12 pounds ish but some dealers chance it at £20 , holding hands probably worth a little more than the £50 but doesnt get played as much as the fantastic four or mellow so probably not as in demand with djs

i have been collecting these and the hardest one i have seen on the label other than the scotts on swingers is im gonna live up to what she thinks , only about a £25 tune but doesnt appear as often as some of the other supposed rarities

:hatsoff2: HI ALL Trying to put a price on this record in 2013 is far from easy, PETES remark about £150 tops I think was about right 18 Months ago, however as I have started to collect US 45 AGAIN! MINT RIC-TIC 120 ARE RARE, & should sell way above £200, the price for some strange reason, is there must be a huge pile of them! after all it's RIC-TIC

i DON'T NO THE STORY OF WHY RIC-TIC 120 IS SO RARE,,ANYONE?

I'm alright with my DEMO from LIL DAVE WELDING, But that's my good fortune?? DAVE K
