As 1 16 year old back in 76 when I fist got into northern One 45 was the ultimate to have in your collection

Eddie Parker Love you Baby. Ashford ( well it was with us ) we all had the boot but an Original was just so cool, Well I finally got one Last week at Cleethorpes and I havent Stoped playing it. I know its not the hardest record to get your mits on, But. and this may seem sad I feel like I have completed a life long ambition,

Any one else got a similer tale with a certain 45

Ditto Mark...as you know......and although in the throes of selling off most of my stuff this is one I am keeping. Did see another for sale the other day, can't remember where but £150 methinks Mark. ranting_1.gif

Must be one of THE unknown tunes that was once played (a couple of times)- if you know what I mean

One record I always wanted but never found cheap enough for me was Liz Christian - Suddenly You Find Love - CBS. Sold 99% of my collection when bankrupt, said only 2 records would start me collecting again, one being the Liz Christian, the other that Len Barry LP. Got the L.C. on Cbs demo 2 weeks ago, so looks like i'm back in the game, only in a small way of course?!

Broke mine... a pile of records fell off the side, and that on e took the brunt of the fall.

ooh shute - bad luck. I just trod on a Scepter thing the other day trying to navigate round the record room, and heard that horrible noise of styrene cracking. Fortunately only a 25 pounder. Have previously "cracked" a Willie Tolliver and accidently ran over a Houston Outlaws when DJing on radio, when I launched my swivel chair back from the console in a moment of madness. Again that horrible sound

I remember Ian Levine playing this at the Ritz in '76

Have not heard or seen it before or since - didn't realise it was an acetate?

Not sure if it will have stood the test of time though - anyone with a soundfile?????

Cheers

Steve
