Soundfiles Wanted

[Cover-up]

A while back I posted "An Idiot's Guide To Acetates". Two of them are "Nobody's Baby Am I" and "Just Can't Get Enough Of You", so I'm presuming these are by The Apollas.

Can anyone post up soundclips of the single on Loma (both sides if possible) so I can hear if they're different versions (possibly Valerie Simpson demos) or the released versions.

Any help greatly appreciated...

attached mp3s of the Apollas .....on the topic of Valerie Simpson acetates....Tony Rounce told me that one exists of her version of "Surrender your love".....the only released version (i believe).....being the Carrolls on UK Polydor (1966)....anyone got a soundfile of the V Simpson version? (attached mp3 of the Carrolls).

The other released version of the song, I recall, being Diana Ross on UK Tamla Motown TMG 792 and US Motown 1188. A BIG hit in its day. To be honest though, the lyrics are somewhat different, but it's essentialy the same Ashford / Simpson song.

Jim, Thanks so much for posting those up, very much appreciated.

They're both totally different takes. The version of "Just Can't Get Enough" I have features fuzz guitar, and doesn't have the brass sections, so it's obviously a demo. "I Want A Guarantee" (the unreleased Maxine Brown song) was in the same batch, and it's a very similar arrangement...
