Songs That Have 'something',but Could Be So Much Better

Hi all. Just discovered the Cashmeres' Finally Wakin Up, and although i love parts, as a whole it just dont quite gel for me. This is a shame, as with some editing+re-arranging, it could've been an amazing monster like Your Wish is my Command. Obviously just my opinion,but can anyone think of other examples of tracks that dont quite hit the spot? Cheers+a Happy New Year! Carl.
