Neiljon31 Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Just reaching the final chapter of The Chitlin' CiIrcuit and the road to Rock n Roll by Preston Lauterbach It's a bloody good book and I would heartily recommend it to anyone on here, probably been mentioned before but even so it's worth another plug I say. Some great tales of the Chitlin Circuit of the Southern States some tragic some bizarre but a great history of development of black music in the 30's, 40's and beyond and further beyond legacy wise.... I think it was only published in the US but I guess available via Amazon as the Mrs got me it for me birthday last September. All the best Neil
