For Millionaires Only

Ok, not so long ago there was an influx of the Goldmine CD's 'For Millionaires Only' volume 4, selling for anything between 99p- £5. Now there seems to be an endless supply of volume 2.

What I want to know is, what happened to volume 3? That seems to be the hardest one to obtain, why is that?

Always thought the Millionaires series and the Allnighter series were the best things Goldmine put out and i still have them all,but didn't realise Millionaires 3 was any harder than the others.Does vol 3 command a higher price.

Not sure if it commands a higher price but it's definitely hard to get (so is vol 1 but I have that one). I been trying for a while and they never turn up on ebay.

Used to buy a lot of CD's back in the day and never bothered with 2 and 4 so guessing they're not as good?

It must only be about 4 years ago that I was selling them 3 for 10 quid. Then again, I suppose it's supply and demand, the long they are deleted, the harder they are to find.

remember vol 1 was was supposed to be a very limited edition hence original £20  price tag, then you spent the next 5 years stepping over them in the street.....

vol 2 and 4 not as good.All are worth having.

I put all 4 on Amazon.  I got £50 for one of them.  £20 for another, £15 for another and I still have one.

Fell for Tim Brown's "limited edition" hype so bought them all on release. Also got "For Modern Millionaires-volume 1" GSCD139. Is this common and was there a Volume 2?

 

 

I was told Unknown Female on "You'll Always be in Style" (post 7 above) was the Ad Libs . Seems likely but was it confirmed or is it another myth.

It was confirmed by Sidney Barnes way back in the earl 2000's, would be 2002/3? when he was at the Dome, someone played it when it was still played as Patti Austin and his ears pricked up and said hey this is the Ad-Libs.  

 

It has since been released on a CD "The Ad-Libs The Blue Cat Years" complete with studio chatter whilst laying down the track and another alternate take.

What do the cds normally sell at.  I've around 100 Goldmine/SoulSupply which I might sell, they never get played and are gathering dust.
