Guest JIM BARRY Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I have recently compiled my favourite tunes to c.d, and wandered what other members would choose as their fave 2 tracks of each soul genre. i went for these... listening soul. detroit spinners...could it be i,m falling in love...bobby womack..harry hippie mainstream soul. o,jays..use ta be my girl......new york city...i,m doin fine now northern soul..salvadors..stick by me baby...moses smith ...girl across the st motown..marvin gaye ...whats going on.....temptations...just my imagination rare soul..jimmy bo horn... i can,t speak....bob and fred...i,ll be on my way

Cheers Richard i would consider rare soul is not known to the average soul fan richard, my 2 modern faves would be . flowers...for real and seville...show me the way, i also left out funk and r&b which i mainly dislike, but feel free to add them in any case.
