Guest Owen Conway Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 this last 3 months i have been bidding on various copies of Barbara Randolph..i,ve got a feeling each time on different labels, soul, motown, tamala motown and in desperation even on a dutch tamla motown in orange. then bugger me i keep losing always in the last minute and by one bid though ive been the only bidder for a week or so. whats going on? rant over..
boba Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 a) you need to snipe so your bid goes in at the last second. There is a free sniper, gixen.com b) you need to bid higher 1
Chalky Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 I think most use some sort of snipe now judging by the auctions I have either lost or watched, always a last second bid that wins.

Guest gordon russell Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 put a real big bid in it,ll beat the snipe......however you don,t wanna get it for £995.95p
Chalky Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 I've said all along, everyone should use a snipe, be allowed to enter one bid, as in "what you are prepared to pay" and everyone will be the better for it You might lose a few but prices would be a little more realistic. 1
Chris L Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Place a free ad on SS in the Wants section, best know how much you want to pay. Looking for a UK or US copy (or Dutch) ?
Chris L Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 There's 3 on UK Ebay right now, 2 x UK & 1 US.
Jhsoulnotts Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 In my experience, of it's over a tenner, best to buy from a dealer who knows his stuff. better risking the wayward grading of some Ebay sellers or catching a boot. Often the price is cheaper than you think. 1
