hi , is there any way visually telling what is the alt take is ( kids or people making a load of noise on the intro ) on part 1

i have a usa copy and a british chess copy they both dont have it ,

i did get out bid on one about six months ago which had a sound bite , i have asked a couple of times when up on ebay , they have got back to me saying it was not on the copies they were selling , does it really exist on a 45 , there is a vid on u tube with it on two girls and a bloke dancing to it , so it does exist

in some sort of format , is there any way of telling by the label what the alt take is , any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks all the best Eddy

This one on youtube has a different label layout to the one I'm familiar with (ie the one i have) and the track playing is the one with crowd noise - maybe that's the way to tell? Mind I prefer the more hard driving guitar intro myself :O)

The British press has no crowd noise, and I always presumed this was a problem with a stereo master being folded back into mono - but I had no proof of that. I never thought there were two alternate versions, so I might check this today.

I also presumed that all US copies had the crowd noise, could someone confirm if this is the case?
