Jerry Hipkiss
Here's a head-scratcher for ya - what NS goodies can you never get on a US demo? For starters - Nolan Porters' "Oh Baby", "B" side of "Singer Man" which in itself was promo'd as a double-sided ABC white demo. Any takers? Hippo. Decca/RCA/London etc, did this as normal practice with their demos from 1955 - 1960. The reason for this was so that a radio DJ could play the B-side immediately after the A-side during one of their shows. Link to comment Social source share

Guest Martin Coleman
City Lights I've a a demo of but it's not white, it's like the issue but has the same track both sides. RCA didn't put any demos out in the early 60's. You mean you have a red demo with "City Lights" both sides? That's cool. I found the same Jerry Naylor, on red Tower with the correct issue number, last year, but mine has the "wrong" track both sides. Grrrr. Link to comment Social source share
