Popular Post Jim G Posted January 11, 2013 Author Popular Post Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) Bought 100 records in a batch on Ebay, they have just arrived. All are NM to EX they have stored in loft for 30 years and all are in the cardboard covers with plastic inserts so no dust etc.. Nothing super rare in this lot (and there is some pop) but worth way more than I paid for them and even feel a bit guilty. Nearly all are UK, but there some USA originals in there as well. I got the lot for £40.43 (including shipping!) I will tidy up the list, and re-post it, problems with cut and paste into HTML. Guest Polyvelts Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 I used to think this (well still do really) but Royal Mail have to pay Customs & Excise to release the mail on our behalf, so obviously they have to get that back, not sure what the handling charge is for though Go down the sorting office with a £50 note, they rarely have any float whatsoever at mine, when they ask if you have anything smaller offer them the right money but say unfortunately they have to pay an £8.00 handling charge for that. They don't think it's particularly funny but its these small pleasures in life that keep you sane !

Jim G Posted January 28, 2013 Author Posted January 28, 2013 (edited) Todays postman deliveries 1. Holidays "Watch Out" Demo £7 2. Innervision "Honey Baby" £9 (bought this a new release in 70t's on UK and sold it by mistake, glad to get it back) Edited January 28, 2013 by jim g 2
Tiberius Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 (edited) Have around 20 45's, + some card & paper sleeves, stuck in the post somewhere, I'm assuming there were delays in delivery due to the recent bad weather as there were no deliveries locally 'cos of the snow. Started to get really twitchy but the postie came today with 3 packages. Rockafellas - Strike It Rich - SCA - always wonder if SCA is a 2nd press as it was released on Southern Sounds with a different flip. Smokey 007 - My Precious World / My Paradise - Birdland - descibed as VG- but arrived very clean apart from some names on the label. Phil Copeland - (My) Lil' Darlin - CIII - and the seller threw a free 45 in Four Tees - One More Chance - Kent promo At the moment I'm elated as Smokey must rate as one of my biggest ever bargains & Four Tees as a freebie can't be bad, that said, there's still a good few outstanding..... Edit - uploaded pics. Edited February 1, 2013 by tiberius 1
