I bought a copy of The Intentions "Don't forget that I love you" from eBay during the week and it turns out that the seller was one of the members of the group!

I used to think this (well still do really) but Royal Mail have to pay Customs & Excise to release the mail on our behalf, so obviously they have to get that back, not sure what the handling charge is for though

Go down the sorting office with a £50 note, they rarely have any float whatsoever at mine, when they ask if you have anything smaller offer them the right money but say unfortunately they have to pay an £8.00 handling charge for that. They don't think it's particularly funny but its these small pleasures in life that keep you sane ! :)

This will mean very little to any of you folks but this means a lot to me and I am so chuffed to have a copy back safely in my collection.

It's actually by Carl Bryan and Lynn Tait, not Joe White.

Have around 20 45's, + some card & paper sleeves, stuck in the post somewhere, I'm assuming there were delays in delivery due to the recent bad weather as there were no deliveries locally 'cos of the snow. Started to get really twitchy but the postie came today with 3 packages.

Rockafellas - Strike It Rich - SCA - always wonder if SCA is a 2nd press as it was released on Southern Sounds with a different flip.

Smokey 007 - My Precious World / My Paradise - Birdland - descibed as VG- but arrived very clean apart from some names on the label.

Phil Copeland - (My) Lil' Darlin - CIII - and the seller threw a free 45 in Four Tees - One More Chance - Kent promo

At the moment I'm elated as Smokey must rate as one of my biggest ever bargains & Four Tees as a freebie can't be bad, that said, there's still a good few outstanding..... :sweatingbullets:

Edit - uploaded pics.

James Brown ' People wake up ' LP track only ? No it's not !

Yes it is, note titles, "7" is "People Wake Up And Live", album is "People Wake Up And Give Yourself A Chance" lyrics are different and LP percussion is more profound
