Nice pristine Acetate....See-Saw Instrumental, no idea who it is though but it plays well and there are 2 tracks of the same recording, one slightly slower.

Just got Johnny Wyatt - This Thing Called Love,  last time I got that it was £7 or there about, of Joe Dunlop... but I'm a happy man again... this and Bobby Reed - I'll Find a Way... not trendy and all that anymore but I know I'll have hours of enjoyment playing those two..also got 'Corporation Of One - The Real Life' which is  the version to get of Raven Maize hit record by Joey Negro... got a great break beat throughout!!

Good music dont go out of fashion... but crap music does, very quickly..

Just bought this VG+ condition been after it for a while, normally goes goes for a lot more than I paid, so I am happy!

Had it on UK Demo, but wanted the first release demo in USA, you see the Verve ones (third release) on Ebay all the time and they go for more than I paid for this one, strange world of buying!

:hatsoff2: Hi All..... here is a 1st for me, last week I ordered 2 records from Mick Smiths latest list, I e-mailed him the info of what I wanted, #20 & #71, reply from Mick saying I was in luck, paid for the 2 45s, on Monday I opened the records, inside were 2 records, but not the 2 I ordered, thinking that I had someone else's records I told Mick about his mistake, about 3am Tuesday to my embarrassment I realised it was me who F up?

When I got the list from Mick & before reading it, I put it down in my record room, later on I picked 2 records from the LIST #20 & #71,

Hope you are following this?

The problem was I had read a old list & made my order from it, I was sent the ~20 ^ #71 from his latest list, a lesson learnt, Dave

HERE ARE MY NEW RECORDS  post-13241-0-93515500-1415982445_thumb.jpost-13241-0-21358800-1415982519_thumb.j

Final show of the year always finds me dumping a load of stuff from the previous 12 months to the dealers. I managed to unload a box of Reggae/Island 45's (nothing to get excited about), a box of pop/rock/odds and ends 45's, a box of Reggae 12's (again, nothing exciting) and a box of rock albums.

I did manage to get a couple of things, the best of which was a copy of Marv Johnson - Come On And Stop on Canadian United Artists. Also got a copy of Iris Harvey - Betrayed - Columbia promo but it has a crack that goes about 1/2" into the vinyl. You can hear a couple of clicks on the run in but it plays fine after that - but I dont actually like it that much having got it home and played it.

Garland Green - Ain't that good enough - Revue Demo

Arrived last week - found it on Discogs graded as VG- / G+

Posted

stemmons express - woman love thief - karma

annabelle fox - lonely girl - satin

johnny sayles - can't get enough - st lawrence

the naturals - don't just stand there - path

lee andrews - never the less - crimson

bits & pieces - keep on running away - nasco

montclairs - hung up on your love - paula

Rock & Roll Flea Market earlier today at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland...not often this show gets a 45 dealer who knows his shit, but there was one there today. Bought these six:

"Reflections of My Life"--125th Street Candy Store (Uptite promo)

"Baby Be Mine"--Sweet Delights (Atco)

"Just to Prove I Love You"--Oscar Weathers (Top & Bottom)

"If This Is Love"--Precisions (Drew)

"I Want It Back (Your Love)"--Voice Box (Loma)

"You Haven't the Right"--Catalinas (Scepter)

Those last two were in the $10 and up box he kept behind the counter. He had some corkers in there...Sam Fletcher on Tollie for $100, Skip Cunningham on 20th Century Fox for $60, Malibus "Gee Baby" on Sure-Shot for $50, and a few others...but the holidays are not the time for big money deals on my salary...LOL! Anyhow, the entire lot cost me $30...averaging out to $5 a record. I'm happy with that. :)

Best,

Mark
