Good Evening Sir

It's been a funny old week Del - but we always pull through. The pipes sound good - and they arrived in the post so they do count.  I suspect that there is far more to them than just the puff - look, feel etc. Due to my funny old week I have swerved the semi diet and have some duck and roast potatoes in the oven - sometimes, you just got to do it! :)

I send you and your finest of ladies my very best.

Nice.

:hatsoff2: HI ALL...This 45 may seem odd at first glance, however it is one of those records that I love to have in my rare soul collection, I remember Mick S playing me this many years ago, it is from 1965, and has the SUPREEMS singing "things go better with COKE" when I was looking on you tube for a sound file, I was amazed on how many people recorded Coca Cola Adverts, rather me putting a sound file on Soul Source why not go to you tube and see for your self, I found it enjoyable way to pass an hour  DAVE Kpost-13241-0-70011000-1380841986_thumb.j

Postman dropped these off yesterday:

Willie Harper (I have a thing for those NOLA 45s)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7HXrFcPSuk

Dave Gibson (the flip, "It Could Have Been Worse", is nice too)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fE_G-8M6FlM

25th Hour (strange record, soul garage pop thing, first track is interesting and reminds me of Just Brothers in a way)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klaWrkquWT8

Kelly Brothers (just a nice record, love the old excello label design, is the version on Sims identical?)

Two absolute beauties Rich, new to me, however "What can I tell her", I am sure I have heard this by somebody else, brilliant !

Kev

Thanks Kev - Your feedback is much appreciated! Always pick up the Cat / Glades etc family of labels when I see 'em.

JP Robinson also covered 'What Can I Tell Her' - it was nagging at me also! I think there are more versions??
