Good Evening Sir

It's been a funny old week Del - but we always pull through. The pipes sound good - and they arrived in the post so they do count.  I suspect that there is far more to them than just the puff - look, feel etc. Due to my funny old week I have swerved the semi diet and have some duck and roast potatoes in the oven - sometimes, you just got to do it! :)

I send you and your finest of ladies my very best.

Nice.

:hatsoff2: HI ALL...This 45 may seem odd at first glance, however it is one of those records that I love to have in my rare soul collection, I remember Mick S playing me this many years ago, it is from 1965, and has the SUPREEMS singing "things go better with COKE" when I was looking on you tube for a sound file, I was amazed on how many people recorded Coca Cola Adverts, rather me putting a sound file on Soul Source why not go to you tube and see for your self, I found it enjoyable way to pass an hour  DAVE Kpost-13241-0-70011000-1380841986_thumb.j

Just spent a couple of hours at a "Nostalgia" show after seeing an advert on the internet. Guy advertising couple of 1000 45's.

I lashed out and spent a buck on Dobie Gray - In Hollywood - Canadian Reo, and that was all I bought.  :(

$5 to get in

I do like to get demos when I can Swifty.

My Sam Dees is a demo but I must admit to the Intrepids being an issue. I do like the Columbia demos.

One from a lady who doesn't get much attention - bit of late night listening. Who's who on production/writing credits. Richard Evans, Gene Barge, Marvin Yancy & Charles Jackson! Cheap as chips and so very soulful.

Lisbon flea market, today, Hesitations - Wait a minute/She won't come back, on Spanish Kapp. Looks like it was once owned by Graca Gomez, whose name is all over the pic sleeve, front and back, but still not bad for half a Euro

Thanks Kev - Your feedback is much appreciated! Always pick up the Cat / Glades etc family of labels when I see 'em.

JP Robinson also covered 'What Can I Tell Her' - it was nagging at me also! I think there are more versions??
