Jaco Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Who, when, where? Usual info required. Super track. Ta much
Scotters Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Lovely record indeed and I'm not sure which came first...JR Bailey's version or Universal Joint. Quite different prices demand for each and either way....superb "goose bump" soul to my ears.

Garethx Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Universal Joint apparently included Rob Parissi, later of Wild Cherry ("Play That Funky Music White Boy" etc). They were from Steubenville, Ohio.
Sutty Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 (edited) Despite refusing to believe it at first, 'hold on' is a great Wild Cherry track - both on their lp that contains 'play that funky music' and the later re-recording on 45 (slightly veering off there...). and both versions will cost you the total of about a fiver between them i'd expect! cheers Sutty Edited December 12, 2012 by Sutty 1
Sutty Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 1st album version 2nd album version and 45 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eu-uTU3LX5M&sns=em 1
