Did this come out on another label other than Westbound?

Also there's two label variations.

The 1st, on the right of label says, - Produced by DYNA.W144B..

The 2nd says - Produced by Paul and Doc.W145B.

The 2nd one a re-release on Westbound?

Are you sure your not mixing this with the Superlatives - Lonely In A Crowd, which was the previous Westbound release which has the details you mention. That one Lonely In A Crowd was also released on the Dynamics label (just to clarify).

Not on Dynamics - but came out twice on Westbound.

What's quite odd about Happy Days being released twice is that, it's the official B-Side on both release #145 and #180. So did they use Happy Days on release #180, just to get the Magictones releases to a required quota and then get shot of the group as they left Westbound after this release?

I don't know, but leaving westbound and going to motown and recording "smiling faces" with norman whitfield as the undisputed truth was the best thing the group members could have done. The final female member (Virginia McDonald) became a part of the Eighth Day, who also had bigger hits than the Magictones.
