Pete S Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 even £75 if you want it badly..at 60 you`d have competion A couple of years back I sold an acetate of this on here, it wasn't a Pye one though, it was a one sided Emidisc! Totally legit, 1966 cut, but unusual that it was an Emidisc when there's so many Pye acetates around (though I once peeled off a Pye acetate label and there was an Emidisc one underneath). Think I sold it for £50... 1

HI ALL...PETE I think that your EMI Disc example relates to where the actual recording was done, as I had a Pet Clark "downtown" (possibly the best UK recording there is of 6ts pop with soul?) also the disc itself with a PYE COSTOM LABEL is on a EMI PLATTER, A very rare record though in my opinion, more than the £50 you got, but that's the problem with acetates, there true value is never reached? I think Mick only got £100 for my Tymes "here she comes" & a bit more for Eve Sands "picture me gone" DAVE K

Cheers, Tony. OZ.
