2) Lewis Clark — Dog (Ain’t A Man’s Best Friend / I Need You Baby — BRENT (M-). Ignore the mental lyrics, this is full throttle Northern both sides - £40

3) Dean Parrish — Tell Her — BOOM (M-). Spotless copy of this Wheel classic - £40

4) Chalfontes — He Loves Me / Confessin’ My Love To You — MERCURY demo (VG). Audible crackles at home but drowned out on a big system. CMLTY is the in-demand side these days - £25

5) Willie Kendrick — Change Your Ways / What’s That On Your Finger — RCA demo (M-). Top class double sider £275

6) Frankie Beverly & The Butlers — Because Of My Heart / I Want To Feel I’m Wanted — FAIRMOUNT demo (E). No introduction required, proven rarity & instant floor packer - £1500

7) Lee David — Temptation Is Calling My Name — COLUMBIA (E). At least it would be E except for the crack all the way from edge to label. Good news is it’s a clean break and absolutely fine for DJing, even more so if you taped up the flip side - £50

Richard - I do the cropping and shadowing in a programme called Corel Photo Paint, then save the image as a JPG file. Bit of a ballache but nice result.
