Mike Selesia - Flavor (Flavor) : very cool private press Jazz record from the Central Valley. The track "Brute Strength" will be on Ubiquity's next Bay Area Funk compilation. Also, showandtellmusic.com has this to say "Weird LP from stoney jazz squad out of Fresno, CA (of all places). Mix of sounds from psychedelic eastern jazz to funky jazz. Solid LP - only a couple weaker tracks and an LP that's apparently very hard to find." This album was a very limited press that was handed out at their shows and sold to local record stores. Only together for nine months, Mike Selesia and band recorded this album in one day while high on weed and opium laced tootsie rolls.
